Benjamin Okoth, popularly known as Benali, is a professional Sound Engineer, Script Writer, Music Producer and currently the Host of the Vibe na Benali Live show.

He has worked on some of Kenya’s biggest shows like the XYZ show where he created the show’s hit songs and rib cracking scripts that left most audiences in stitches. He has also worked as a sound engineer for the Churchill show and DIP (Digital Image Processor) from 2018 to 2023.

Benali observed that young talents in Kenya do lack adequate mentorship and platforms. He also learnt that young women lack enough opportunities to rise as artists. Accordingly, he put effort to assist artists, especially young women, actualize their dreams, through his platform ‘Vibe na Benali’ Vibe na Benali has seen the successful rise of artists such as Mercy Walker.

He has successfully hosted two shows at the Kenya National Theatre which have received tremendous feedback. He believes that his platform will follow the likes of Abel Mutua and Churchill Show to uplift many artists that will change the entertainment scene in the next 3 years. Vibe na Benali Live was officially launched on 26th February 2022. It has since then received tremendous feedback and requests from young artists to nurture and help grow their talents as well as interests in hosting more shows for our vibrant audience. As Theodore Dreiser phrases it, `Art is the stored honey of the human soul’ and as they promised, so shall they deliver. The maiden event will therefore be held on 5th March 2023 at the Kenya National Theatre grounds as from 4:00pm till late.
